vpn-udp is a simple program which tunnels network packets from one host to another inside encrypted UDP packets. It is useful for building virtual private networks between hosts on insecure physical networks. Being based on UDP, it offers better performance than the standard PPP-over-SSH VPNs in common use.
vpn-udp sets up SLIP interfaces on the hosts at each end of the link, and copies packets between them. How you set up the endpoints (which will appear as standard interfaces sl0, sl1, ...) is up to you.

vpn-udp is free software, available under the terms of the GNU GPL.
